Update from Lloyd and Elaine Cooke in Jamaica

Family and Friends!

Just a quick note (until I can compose a more comprehensive one) to let you know that I am STILL alive and well and at home, thank God!

The Lord has been merciful! I did not know that I had so many caring and praying friends. Some of you certainly worked the angels of heaven overtime with your prayer requests: and they answered marvelously. The Lord was gracious to me!

Seems as if, from what Elaine tells me, calls came in from just about everywhere. At the hospital the staff got the impression that I was some greatly important person: so many outside doctors were checking in with them, etc.

Thanks again to each one of you individually and to you all collectively. I felt so loved: like Billy Graham recently said at the opening of his Library in Charlotte, “I feel like I am listening to my own funeral”. I got close to the same feeling.
